Nepal vs Hongkong:- Nepal has suffered its second consecutive defeat in the ACC T20 Eastern Region Tournament. In the match played today, Nepal lost to Hong Kong by 43 runs. After this defeat, Nepal's chances of being in the top two have become very weak. Nepal's batting became the main reason for their defeat to Hong Kong, which was six places below Nepal in the world level.

Third Wickets:- Sandeep of Nepal gave third success in the 11th over. Sandeep sent Kinchit Sah to a pavilion on a zero run when Hong Kong scored 85 runs already a big score.

Fourth Wickets:- Skipper Kushal Malla gave Nepal the fourth success when Hong Kong scored 110 runs. He dismissed Harron Mohammed Arsad in the 14th over. He returned to the Pavilion by a score of 27 runs in 22 balls.

Fifth Wickets:- The fifth success was Sandeep. Sandeep dismissed in the last over of his spell to Jamie Atkinson who scored 13 runs with the help of 14 balls

Sixth Wickets:- Nepal achieved its sixth success through a runout. Dipendra Singh Ari had run out for Mohammad Aijaz Khan. Khan added 29 runs from 20 balls.

Waqas Khan not out scoring 5 runs in 7 balls and Scott Mckenzie not out without scoring scores. Remaining Players Waqas Barkat, Aftab Hussain and Ehsan Khan did not bat.

Conclusion

After losing the two consecutive matches against Malaysia and Hongkong Nepal dream to play the Asian Cup is near to close down. As only top two teams qualify to play for the ACC qualifying match.  
  • In the first match of the tournament, Nepal lost by 22 runs to Malaysia.
  • In the Second Match Nepal lost by 43 runs to Hongkong.
